We're thrilled to share that our latest research, "Chemogenetic Inhibition of the Lateral Hypothalamus Effectively Reduces Food Intake in Rats in a Translational Proof-of-Concept Study," has been published in Scientific Reports - Nature!
The study validates a robust and simple in vivo assay in rats, supporting the progression of our chemogenetic drug discovery project. It introduces a reliable model for preclinical proof-of-concept studies to measure the in vivo efficacy of newly developed chemogenetic treatments in rats. In addition, the paper highlights the potential of chemogenetic treatments as an effective new strategy to influence food intake and combat obesity.
